Challenge | How can wearable technology improve customers’ mowing experiences?
Process | Through contextual research, workshops, and low and high fidelity prototypes, we started to understand the value smartwatches can bring to customers’ lives.
Design | Paired with an iPhone app that, among other features, allows customers to track their mows, the Apple Watch app puts control of the tracking process in an easy to reach place.
Outcome | Initial research indicates that this wearable experience allows the phone to remain safely tucked away while allowing the customer to maintain control of the experience through the Apple Watch.
This app was designed at the John Deere and Moline Technology Innovation Centers in 2015-2016.
